Give a Product or Service

There are many different products and services used by Bridging People and Places in meeting our mission of making a difference in the lives of others.  Examples of these needed products and services are listed below, along with those individuals and organizations who have recently donated them.  We would greatly appreciate any additional donations of these or other products and services, as such donations allow us to use our limited financial resources for more urgent needs that directly benefit those whom we serve.

Products

 

bullet

Yarn used by senior volunteer knitters for making teddy bear sweaters and hats.  A source for this yarn is needed.  

bullet

"Bear Dens"    (white paper bags with handles - like shopping bags) for delivery of Bear Hugs teddy bears -- Brunswick CSD currently donates these bags through the Learn and Serve America Grant.  This grant encourages the service learning teaching model and supports the Bridging People and Places Kids Helping Kids program.

Raffia ribbon for tying tags on Angel bears -- Specialty Box and Packaging of Albany, NY has donated many spools of raffia.

bulletPaper and Card stock for production of brochures, Bear Hug tags, and other documents.  A source for this paper is needed.
bulletCardboard boxes for mailing Bear Hugs.  A source for these boxes is needed.

Computer services for the Bridging People and Places computer -- Hillebrandt Consulting of South Glens Falls, NY is currently providing these services.

bulletBookkeeping services -- Patti Ryan, EA of Stillwater, NY is currently providing these services.
bulletStorage Unit -- Donna Hillebrandt of Gansevoort, NY provides a storage unit for Bear Hugs awaiting sweaters and/or distribution.
bulletGraphic Arts Consultation -- Carol Hammer from Sunflower Graphix in Schuylerville created our Bear Hugs hand tag.
bulletPrinting and copy services for production of brochures, tags, and other documents -- A source for these services is needed.
